With the Xbox 360 celebrating its 20th birthday this year (and the original Xbox celebrating its 25th birthday next year), Microsoft's console endeavours appear at a crossroads. Whether they will continue producing dedicated console hardware remains an open question given their pivot towards a subscription model couple with publishing their games on non-Microsoft platforms.
Joined by returning guest Luke (Lvaneede), we trace our mutual experience with Xbox over the past 25 years, our thoughts on their past, present and future trajectory while also considering the question of what a console is - and whether everything truly can be a Xbox.
